RINGWOOD - Do you have a qualified 3- or 4-year-old child for a free, full-day preschool class opening September 2009?
The New Jersey State Department of Education mandates that all public school districts offer full-day preschool classes for qualified 3-year-old and 4-year-old children beginning next school year. These classes will include a state-approved academic curriculum, certified teachers, lunch and snack, and transportation.
In the Ringwood School District, children qualify for this program if their family meets the financial criteria for “free or reduced-price lunch” established by the federal government.
