RIVERDALE - Fire Department Pizza Fest on Oct. 11
RIVERDALE - The Riverdale Fire Department Pizza Fest will be held on Oct. 11, 2008 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the firehouse. To date, 10 restaurants have signed up to participate.
They are: AJ’s Pizza, Butler, Anthony Franco's Ristorante, Butler, Cimino's Pizzeria, Bloomingdale, Danny's Pizza, Bloomingdale, Dominos, Pompton Lakes, Frank's Pizza, Pompton Lakes, King & Son (new owner), Pompton Lakes, Luigi's, Ringwood, Pizza One, Haskell, Primo Pizza, Wayne
The public is invited to vote for their favorite. A $5 donation will be accepted at the door and participants will receive a ballot – along with a very large paper plate. It is a single ballot vote and the winner will be decided shortly after 2 p.m. The winning restaurant will receive a plaque and banner – voted best pizza in the Tri-County 2008.
Proceeds of the event will support the Riverdale Fire Department Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, St. Barnabus Burn Foundation, Riverdale Fire Department and various other auxiliary commitments.
