Bloomingdale

Methodist Church
Services are held each Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Bloomingdale United
Methodist Church, 65 Main Street. Children attend church and then leave at
10:45 a.m. to go to Sunday school. Call 973-839-0468 for information.    

Kinnelon

Reformed Church
Worship on Sunday mornings is at 10 a.m. at the Reformed Church at 150
Kinnelon Road. There is Sunday School for children during worship, and
fellowship follows the service. For more information, call the office at

singles group meets for a potluck supper on the second Sunday of the month
at 6 p.m.

Christ Chapel
Sunday worship services at Christ Chapel, 15 Cutlass Road in Kinnelon, are
at 10 a.m. Sunday school for all ages is at 11 a.m. Bible study is also
offered on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Smoke Rise services
The congregation welcomes all worshipers to participate in
non-denominational services at the Community Church of Smoke Rise, located
at 38 North Road. Services start at 10:30 a.m. Childcare for the very young

Young singles
A new college/career group will meet on the second Sunday of the month, with
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. slated for dinner and Bible study and 6:30 to 9 p.m. set
aside for an evening service designed specifically for the post-modern

St. David's
The people of St. David's Episcopal Church, 91 Kinnelon Road in Kinnelon,
invite all to join its worship services as well as the fellowship, outreach
and spiritual formation programs the church offers. Two worship services are
offered on Sunday mornings at 8 and 10:15 a.m., followed by a fellowship
hour. Church School and Youth Group begin at 10:15 a.m. with nursery care

Lincoln Park

Grief support
Those local residents whose spouses have died and are struggling with the
grief of the loss are invited to join a support group that meets for six
weeks at St. Joseph's Church in Lincoln Park. The purpose is to give
information, allow for mutual support and comfort in a spiritual, caring and
strictly confidential setting. Participants are encouraged to wait at least
three months after the death before joining the group. It is open to people
of all faiths. Meetings are Thursdays 7-9 p.m., May 1 and 8. St. Joseph's Church is located at 16 Comly Rd. For more information or to register, call the parish office at 973-696-4411. All

Pequannock

Presbyterian Church
The Pompton Valley Presbyterian Church, located at 60 Sunset Road in Pompton
Plains, holds its weekly Sunday service at 10 a.m. A Bible study meets on
the third and fourth Sundays of the month immediately following worship. For

Bingo Tuesdays
Holy Spirit Afternoon Bingo is held on Tuesdays. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and
games start at 11:30 a.m. Play with books of 11 games - seven regular and
four specials. Breakfast and lunch are served, and prices are very
reasonable. Come on Tuesday and enjoy a wonderful afternoon.

Pompton Lakes

Christian Science
First Church of Christ, Scientist of Pompton Lakes at 243 Hamburg Turnpike
is a branch of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston. Weekly
lesson sermons are read each Sunday during services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday evening meetings are held at 7 p.m. For further information on

St. Paul's services
St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiated by Robert J. Palkewick
and located at 220 Hamburg Turnpike in Pompton Lakes, hosts Sunday morning

Youth Group
The club meets at St. Mary's Church in Pompton Lakes on the first and third
Thursday of each month. Members must be at least 21 years of age to join.
Meetings will be at 8 p.m. in the church hall. Members will socialize and
discuss upcoming activities, like skiing, skydiving, whitewater-rafting, and

Ringwood

Baptist Church
The Ringwood Baptist Church hosts a traditional-contemporary morning worship
service. Sunday services are as follows: 9 a.m. prayer time, 9:30 a.m.
Sunday school  (all ages), 10:45 a.m. Sunday morning worship, and 6:30 p.m.

Bible Study
Ringwood Christian Fellowship is an independent Bible teaching church now

Wanaque

Midvale United Methodist
Midvale United Methodist Church, located at 490 Ringwood Avenue meets for an
inspiring service of worship 9:30 a.m. each Sunday morning. Sunday School
meets at the same time and there is child care for the youngest ones.

West Milford

Women's Bible Study
Living Word Church, at 93 Lakeshore Drive South in Hewitt, is starting a
12-week bible study called "Your Whole Life: The 3D Plan." They meet every
Monday night at 7 p.m. in the church building.  This study is written by
Carol Showalter, who is the founder of Weight Watchers and Overeaters
Anonymous, and co-written by Maggie Davis who is a registered dietitian. The
Plan will help motivate women to eat right, live well, love God and lose
